Rose Cook co-founded and co-presented the popular Devon poetry and performance forum One Night Stanza, and the poetry performance group Dangerous Cardigans. She has read, performed and presented her work in numerous venues, and at various poetry events and festivals in the UK, as well as having been published widely in magazines. She is one of the Apples and Snakes poets.
None of this, however, can explain her unique way with words, or the way she is variously funny, sad, tender and true on the page. Her writing delights ingenuously in itself and the world at large. The delight is infectious.
