Jim C WilsonJim C Wilson grew up in Edinburgh and taught for nine years in further education. He started writing full-time in 1981, since when he has had both poetry and prose widely published in the small press and in individual collections. He was writer-in-residence for Stirling District 1989—1991, and has run the highly successful Poetry in Practice workshops at Edinburgh University since 1994.

In 2001 he was appointed as the Royal Literary Fund Writing Fellow at Napier University, and from 2002 until 2007 held the positions of RLF Writing Fellow, RLF Project Fellow and RLF Mentor at Edinburgh University’s Office of Lifelong Learning.
