It’s an independent poetry press originated and run by Helena Nelson and based in Fife, Scotland. It has been running since 2005, though the run is now more like a gentle walk, which will soon be a crawl. That is to say we are winding down.

HappenStance has no public funding. It does, however, have a group of readers.
