Monochrome screenshot of Richard reading from 'Rock, Paper, Scissors'. He is looking down to the book in his hand, face serious and mouth slightly open as he readers. He has a small beard, no moustache. His hair is short but thick, and falling forward over his forhead (parted to his left). He is wearing a casual checked shirt, soft brushed cotton. He is indoors, perhaps in a cafe or similar. The walls are white with brick effect and hanging things -- two circular ornaments, one edge of picture can be seen.Richard Osmond was born in 1987 and grew up in St Albans. By day, he works as a forager, gathering wild plants, fruits and fungi among the hedgerows of Hertfordshire. He plays the banjo.

He is the only HappenStance poet to have marked his debut with two pamphlets at the same time.

He has had work widely published. Links can be found on his website at

His first full collection, Useful Verses, won the Seamus Heaney First Collection Prize.
